On the evening of March 24, 2006 -- and on the eve of 'Belarusian Freedom Day, March 25, 2006' -- citizens of Belarus, Europe are blocked by police from assembling on the Central Minsk Square. Blocked from the Central Minsk Square, they assemble nearby on Minsk's 'Independence Avenue'.
