A British Music Council?

"The United Kingdom's Department of Culture, Media
and Sport is exploring the creation of a Music Council
similar to the country's existing Film Council, which
acts as a link between the film industry and the government.
The council would build on such initiatives as the Music
Business Forum, and informal group of 21 organizations
across the music sector, and would work with the
government on issues like piracy and regulation. ..."
