No Live Horses Or Camels But Live Booze At The After Party! -- The New York City Opera Celebrates Opera!
The New York City Opera celebrates the opening of its 2006-07 Season as that city's 'Peoples Opera House' with a four-day "OPERA-FOR-ALL" with all seats priced at $25, and with seating assignments to be determined by the Box Office.
The first of the four days, tomorrow September 7, is a concert overview celebration of the coming season, followed by an 'After Party' featuring The East Village Opera Company. Younger opera fans -- of whom there must be tens of thousands in a city the size of New York City -- as well as parents and other adults, please note that one must be of legal drinking age to be admitted to the September 7 'After Party'. La Boehme will be performed by the company September 8 to 10. The Saturday, September 9 La Boehme is SOLD OUT.
